Flexera, the IT Company, has presented a report according to which the leading businesses and enterprises are looking forward to investing their funds on significant companies and tech offerings from Google, Amazon Web Services, Google, Salesforce and ServiceNow.
Business to increase spending on Cloud-based Service providers
The various companies have now cut their spending on Oracle, VMWare, and IBM. The top vendors are now gaining profits from the customer’s increased interest in their cloud services.
The annual expenditure and financial plans of the companies around the tech spending are primarily devoted to cloud-based services from Amazon and Microsoft. The companies are taking a keen interest in focusing their funds on the cloud services as they see long term efficiency in the same.

In the survey, it showed that the services from IBM, VMWare and Oracle are no longer attracting the customers in the same zeal. The newer cloud providers are preferred by businesses now.
AWS is most preferred
AWS is the most favored tech provider in cloud-based services for most customers. The customers plan to increase their spending on the AWS. Out of the 2,000 employees of 300 companies across the globe were covered in the survey. Out of those, 65 percent said that they prefer AWS.
Microsoft, Google, and Salesforce follow the suit
56 Percent said that Microsoft is the first choice of the businesses, while 48 percent voted for ServiceNow and Salesforce. Google was the preferred choice of around 39 percent of respondents in the survey.
Companies to spend in Cloud
The tech companies plan to upscale their cloud-based infrastructure and platforms and thus expect to spend more funds on the technology and services from the Cloud-based service provider. Most of the companies talked above are Cloud-based service providers except Microsoft, which also provides an array of on-premise tech solutions.
Companies to cut spending on VMWare, IBM, and Oracle
Around 30 percent of the participants in the survey said that the companies plan to decrease their spending on IBM. Approximately 25 Percent voted for IBM, and 23 Percent noted that their organization is looking to cut tech budget spending on VMWare.
