Salesforce has announced its acquisition of ClickSoftware, which is a field service company. ClickSoftware would be acquired in a deal worth 1.35 Billion dollars’ worth of stocks and cash.

This deal facilitates Salesforce to scale up as an organization and compete with likes of Microsoft etc. Microsoft also attained a field service company FieldOne in the year 2015.
