Accenture has acquired the Cybersecurity businesses Symantec from Broadcom after the deal was finally completed on Monday. The acquisition sets Accenture in a stronger position as one of the largest managed security services provider.
The company can now help its client organizations to detect and work upon the threats of cyberattacks.

Accenture has made investments of more than 1.2 Billion US dollars in acquiring thirty-three companies, including Magellan, Arismore, Deja Vu Security, iDefense, and Redcore. The company intends to strengthen its core offerings in the domain of cybersecurity to its wide array of customers.
The deal is completed within less than ten months of Symantec Cyber Security business being taken over by the Chip Making giant Broadcom for 10.7 Billion Dollars. Within a short span of time, Broadcom sold off the cybersecurity business to Accenture.
