Enterprises across industries function heavily in the digital and cyber workspace, while technology has created avenues for better work processes; it has also increased the dangers of cyber-attacks that can harm businesses tremendously. Hackers these days use the latest tools and techniques to break through the advanced security systems laid by the organizations. It seems that the harmful perpetrators are always a step ahead of the security teams creating newer threats.
Cyber Resilience: Building Shield Against Cyber Attacks
There is no foolproof system or a way to ensure a 100 percent security and hack-proof system. The Accenture study named as “Innovate for Cyber Resilience” details how the big organizations manage to do a better job in ensuring high standards in cybersecurity.
Businesses can cordon cyberattacks with better cybersecurity measures.
As per the report, the organizations with better cybersecurity workflows did four times better job in evading cyber-attacks and finding out about the security breach. These organizations were twice useful in reducing the impact of a security breach and three times more efficient in handling and repairing the breach.

Cybersecurity Leaders Did Better Job at Evading Cyber Attacks and Security Breaches
Accenture team found that the companies with better cybersecurity mechanisms were a step ahead of the hackers and defended themselves by investing in their operational speed. Operational speed depends on the factors like post-incident recovery time, cyber response time and incident detection. When compared to counterparts in the industry, the leaders in cybersecurity gave a lot of emphasis to the betterment of these factors.
Cyberattacks are common in today’s times; however, enterprises that focus on fast detection and timely resolution of the attacks curb the damage that may happen.
Leaders Invest Heavily in Scaling Up to New Systems
New Investments in the upscaled systems can help in gaining long term benefits. The study details that the leaders in cybersecurity make sure that they scale up the security systems and tools which they found to be working for their security. The analysis also detailed how the cyberattacks impacted the leading companies who scaled up the systems. The impact was low on the leaders wherein only 5 percent of attacks turned out to be a security breach while for non-leaders’ 21 percent of attacks resulted in a cybersecurity breach.
Maintaining Existing Cybersecurity Systems is Important
As cyber-attacks become more advanced each day, companies need to make sure that their systems in place are secure and kept updated. The leaders in cybersecurity managed their existing investments in security systems and sustained their teams while moving to newer reforms.
The survey mainly detailed how the leaders in cybersecurity addressed the problem of cyber-attacks and made sure that the customer records are at least risk.
