Dr. Ralph Hingman says, adoption of a digital marketing strategy required in COVID-19
In the existing COVID-19 scenario, this digital shift has already accelerated, said the Group CEO, Dr. Ralph Highnam. He stated that to date they were following a conventional medical device sales and marketing strategy, involving acquiring leads through trade shows, and an onsite visit and training at the customer’s end. This resulted in a high acquisition cost and is not feasible as COVID-19 is still active in some parts of the world.
Hence, they have now adopted a more digital strategy, smart marketing to generate leads, drive demand for products, and video conferencing for remote sales, virtual installs, and support.
Fortunate to have Katherine Singson join as the new CEO, says Mr. Hingman
Mr. Hingman also said that the company is happy with Katherine Singson onboard, who is an experienced technology executive. She has expertise in digital strategy and is a breast cancer survivor herself. She was mentored by Steve Jobs and has an amazing set of connections. With her new outlook, there will be a change in the way people look at and detect breast cancer, said Mr. Hingman.
Meanwhile, Mr. Hingman also thanked the Chief Commercial Officer Mark Koeniguer who has now left the company.
