There’s all sorts of fun to be had with Siri. Apple’s digital assistant gets snarky, for example, when asked to divide by zero or asked about the company’s upcoming iPhones. Now, a newly discovered talent shows off Siri’s musical side.
iOS users recently found that when they ask Siri to beatbox, she shows off some (somewhat) mad skills. She quickly responds with “Here’s one I’ve been practicing,” then starts beatboxing with the following phrase:
“Boots and cats and boots and cats and boots and cats and boots and cats and boots. I can do this all day. Cats and boots and cats and boots and cats and boots and cats and boots and cats and boots and cats and boots and cats.”
Cats and boots, of course, refers to one of the phrases people say when they’re learning how to beatbox, and while Siri definitely hasn’t quite mastered the art of beatboxing, she can certainly do a mean boots and cats when asked.

As Mashable points out, Siri has been able to beatbox since at least November, but the Internet just started discoveringSiri’s not-quite-hidden talent this week.
Maybe by the time the next version of iOS rolls around, Siri will have aced the art of beatboxing and can do more than just repeat boots and cats ad nauseam.
