Hallmark Cards Inc. has selected a new senior vice president of technology and business enablement who will serve the role of a chief information officer.
In his new role, Evon Jones will develop and implement IT strategies to further the company’s retail, business and operational goals. In addition to serving as a corporate officer, he will also oversee Hallmark’s enterprise-wide resource planning.
Jones replaces Mike Goodwin, who left in April to accept a position as senior vice president and CIO of PetSmart Inc. in Phoenix.
Prior to joining Hallmark, Jones worked for Fifth & Pacific Cos., which includes brands such as Kate Spade, Lucky Brand Jeans and Juicy Couture. During his time at Fifth & Pacific, he served as a corporate officer, senior vice president and chief information officer. He also has worked in executive IT leadership roles at Bausch & Lomb Holdings Co., America West Airlines and American Express Co.

Jones and his family will relocate from New Jersey to the Kansas City area.
