Kroger, Houston’s biggest grocer by store count, is in hiring mode.
The Cincinnati-based chain plans to add 10,000 positions nationally in its supermarket divisions this year, according to an announcement. Kroger employs 443,000 associates across 2,796 stores under the Kroger, King Soopers, Ralphs and other names.
“Kroger’s growth trajectory continues to create opportunities for our people to advance their careers and to do that in a fun, team environment with great benefits,” Tim Massa, Kroger’s group vice president of human resources and labor relations, said in an announcement.
“We’re looking for associates who are passionate about people and about food, and who want to make a difference for our customers, communities and each other.”
