Blink Health, an e-commerce platform that connects people to lower-priced medications, has hired three former Amazon veterans to serve on its senior leadership team, according to Business Insider.
The three Blink Health hires:
- Bharath Chinamanthur will serve as Blink’s executive vice president of engineering and operations. He spent 11 years in leadership roles at Amazon, including in a position that helped build its business-to-business platform.
- Christopher Plambeck will serve as Blink’s senior vice president of data sciences and monetization. He spent five years at Amazon as a manager and another seven at Facebook overseeing pricing and analytics.
- Madan Nagaldinne was appointed as Blink’s chief people officer. He helped Amazon build teams across Asia from 200 to 5,000 employees.
Blink Health has encountered a series of road bumps since its 2014 launch. Its app was ditched by top pharmacy retailers CVS and Walgreens, and the company is working through internal legal battles.
