Trinity Health today named Scott Nordlund to be Executive Vice President for Enterprise Strategy and Innovation Development, focusing on bold, new approaches that position the organization for the future.
In his role, Nordlund will lead research that generates innovative ideas from diverse sources and multiple sectors, promoting new business models, strategic alliances and start-ups. “For our patients and communities, Trinity Health is focused on the future, so we are excited that Scott is joining our team to pursue fresh ideas that position us for continuous improvement,” said Trinity Health President and CEO Joseph Swedish. “Scott is an innovator and a risk taker, and we look forward to his strategic leadership.”

He had several other executive roles in strategic planning and business development during his 11 years at Dignity Health, and, previously, held similar executive positions with Navvis Group, BJC Health System in St. Louis and Baxter Healthcare in Chicago.
