Definitive Healthcare released the results of its 2019 value-based care trends survey, polling 1,090 healthcare leaders about the barriers to value-based care adoption and benefits.
How healthcare leaders believe value-based care will change by 2020:
1. Thirty-one percent believe accountable care organizations and bundled payment models will continue to evolve
2. Twenty-seven percent of respondents said there will be stricter limits on fee-for-service models.
3. Twenty-one percent said there will be an increased focus on benchmarking success against competition.
4. Eighteen percent believe market consolidation, new partnerships and networks will continue to capture market share.
