Former CEO of Access Health CT will help power Softheon’s growth and operations
Softheon, a national leader in cloud-based health insurance exchange integration and services, announced today the addition of Jim Wadleigh as Chief Operating Officer. Wadleigh will report directly to Eugene Sayan, Chief Executive Officer, and be responsible for aligning cross-departmental strategies to enhance Softheon’s overall operational efficiency.

In his former role as CEO of Access Health Connecticut, Wadleigh contributed to lowering the state’s uninsured population by 50 percent, was responsible for improving healthcare quality, lowering costs, and reducing health disparities. During his tenure, AHCT was recognized as a national model for success with its stable Exchange rollout and for lowering Connecticut’s uninsured rate below 4 percent. Wadleigh received numerous distinctions including being named a 2015 CIO 100 winner by CIO Magazine, 2014 PMO Global Project of the Year Finalist by the Project Management Institute, and 2014 Healthcare Innovator of the Year by HealthTech Research & Advisory Council.
Bringing more than 25 years of healthcare experience to this newly created role, Wadleigh has broad expertise stemming across multiple financial, technology, and insurance markets.
