The Indianapolis Colts are proud to announce Craig Neef as the sixth honoree of the 2017 Colts Anthem Angels program, presented by Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield. While Craig Neef passed away before receiving this honor, Craig’s family and friends will be recognized at the Colts home game this Sunday, November 26, 2017.
As the Director of Operations at Trusted Mentors, Craig Neef made a significant impact on all of the lives that he touched.
Jeri Warner, Trusted Mentors Executive Director, shared, “Craig is an excellent example of an everyday hero, making a true difference in the lives of Trusted Mentors mentors and mentees, thereby improving the entire Indianapolis community.”
Trusted Mentors connects trained, volunteer mentors with adults at risk of homelessness, ex-offenders re-entering society and young adults aging out of the foster care system. In his five years Neef trained over 600 volunteer mentors. He played an integral role in matching volunteers with at-risk adults. He has also personally mentored three individuals, helping his mentees in their transition out of prison.
Warner continued to state, “He (Neef) loved doing this, his job. He was known for his kindness and dedication.”
For his servant heart and commitment to bettering the lives of others we are proud to honor our Anthem Angel, Craig Neef.
