LifePoint Health leaders have promoted a vice president to a new position that combines the hospital company’s population health efforts with two other briefs.
Jason Ross has been named senior vice president of revenue and network management at LifePoint. Previously, he had been VP of population health. His new role will have him oversee the company’s revenue cycle processes and reimbursement strategies in addition to population health.
Ross joined Brentwood-based LifePoint in mid-2015 from Healthcare Bluebook, where he had been senior VP of consumer and provider markets. Before that, he was VP of value-based programs at The Advisory Board Company and director of physician operations at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee.
“Jason has served in a number of health plan, managed care and provider-based leadership roles, which gives him a deep understanding of the drivers of care delivery and care financing, accountable care, physician alignment, clinical integration, population health, and managed care contracting,” said David Dill, president and COO for LifePoint. “This experience makes him ideally suited for this new, integrated role We are delighted to expand his responsibilities into leading efforts to help our hospitals maximize their clinical and financial potential.”
LifePoint runs 72 hospital campuses in 22 states as well as more than 40 post-acute facilities and more than 30 outpatient centers.
