A Humana Inc. spokesman says the company has evacuated employees from its downtown Louisville offices because of a possible gas leak.
Spokesman Marvin Hill says employees left the building near the Ohio River before 9 a.m. EDT Tuesday after someone smelled gas circulating in the ventilation system. Hill says the company will have an updated statement later Tuesday.
LG&E spokesman Brian Phillips says maintenance workers were working on a boiler at the building Tuesday morning and gas leaked into the air as a line was purged. Phillips says there were no dangerous levels of gas in the air.
