A recent healthcare tech survey by Healthcare.com polled over 1,000 US adults and found that 20% of Americans feel their health data privacy has been violated. On the other hand, 45% of respondents said they trust AI in healthcare. When asked about potential AI uses in healthcare, the most popular responses were virtual health assistants (33%), targeted treatments (30%), and diagnosis of blood diseases (21%). Looking towards promising future uses for AI, respondents were most interested in the management of medical records (26%), virtual health assistants (25%), and improved healthcare access (25%). Interestingly, 33% of Gen Zers and 29% of Millennials reported experiencing AI in medical treatments, compared to 21% of Gen Xers and 7% of Boomers.
