Procare LTC, a leading pharmacy provider serving the long-term care and post-acute sector, today announced the acquisition of Allen’s PharmaServ, Inc., a long-term care pharmacy based in Youngstown, Ohio, serving group homes, residential treatment facilities, and residents of other post-acute facilities since 1956. The acquisition expands Procare LTC’s footprint in the strategic market of Ohio, further enhancing the company’s ability to serve clients in Northeast Ohio and Western Pennsylvania.

Through the acquisition, Allen’s PharmaServ president, Alan Mirkin, and Rick Marlin, director of the pharmacy, will continue to lead the business. All employees currently with Allen’s PharmaServ will join the Procare LTC team, ensuring a smooth transition with uninterrupted service.
