Lumeca Health, one of Canada’s leading virtual healthcare platforms, is proud to announce its recent acquisition of one of Saskatchewan’s most successful tech startup development team.
Jeremy Foster, Levi Hamilton, Brandon Demeria, and Riley Ackerman joins Lumeca as their CTO, VP of Product, Lead iOS Developer, and Lead Android Developer, respectively.
All four team members come to Lumeca from diverse start-up and entrepreneurship backgrounds, including GasBuddy where they helped launch the app in 2011, sell the company in 2013, open offices across the United States, and secure over 80,000,000 downloads. In 2018, it became the #2 app in the app store for a short period.
Additionally, to round out the team’s clout in the tech industry, GasBuddy co-founder Dr. Dustin Coupal sits on Lumeca’s advisory board.
