Community Health to Divest Three Virginia Hospitals

• Community Health Systems (NYSE:CYH) has agreed to sell three Virginia hospitals, Southside Regional Medical Center in Petersburg, Southampton Memorial in Franklin and Southern Virginia Regional Medical Center in Emporia, to Bon Secours Mercy Health for an undisclosed sum.
• The transaction should close by year-end.
