Chalmers Group of Companies, a privately owned Canadian corporation that manufactures and supplies niche quality equipment to the medical and transportation industries, has announced the acquisition of LYNX Product Group, which designs, develops, and manufactures both standard and custom animal care washing, disinfection, filling, and conveying systems.
LYNX joins PRIMUS Sterilizer Company, Scientek Technology Group, and CSI Jewett as companies that are part of Chalmers Medical Group (CMG). With facilities solely in North America, CMG is a best-in-class manufacturer and services provider for healthcare and life sciences companies.
The acquisition of LYNX continues the company’s commitment to expanding its footprint to ensure proven solutions and quick turnaround to its customers throughout North America.
“By bringing these companies into CMG, we are providing our clients with a broader support network, deeper technical expertise, commonality among platforms, and a centralized source for parts and equipment,” said Jim Fry, president and CEO of CMG.

The acquisition furthers the company’s mission to be the single solution for customers seeking steam sterilizers, washing equipment, refrigeration products, and ancillary stainless-steel equipment with non-proprietary parts.
