Pinterest has introduced a slate of tools and well-being activities for users to help them cope with anxiety, stress, and sadness.
The activities are designed to help users deal with workplace stress, improve their mood and relax.
Pinterest will show you a prompt to explore these tools when you search with keywords like “stress quotes,” “work anxiety” or other terms that indicate that you might be in distress or need compassion.

If someone is searching for something self-harm related, they will be directed to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, which they can get to in two taps.
These tools and activities were created in association with emotional health experts at Brainstorm, the Stanford Lab for Mental Health Innovation and with the guidance of Vibrant Emotional Health and the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.
These activities appear different because this experience is kept separate. These interactions and activities are kept private and will not be connected to your account.
The platform does not track who uses these resources and all activities are stored anonymously using a third-party service. Which also means Pinterest won’t show recommendations or ads based on the use of these resources.

The platform wanted users to have access to supportive resources. As real-life experiences and distress get carried forward online.
The well-being activities will be available to everyone in the U.S. over the coming weeks in our app for iOS and Android (version 7.25). Followed by a roll-out on a larger scale.
