It’s the latest in telemedicine — a virtual health clinic that will not only allow you to visit with a doctor, but also fill your prescriptions on site.
OnMed, the company behind the healthcare station, is located in Clearwater.
Its founders hope to roll out the virtual stations in the near future, saying airports, shopping centers, universities and hospitals are ideal locations.
The OnMed station features:
- Height, weight and BMI measurements
- Thermal imaging to take body temperature
- The ability to dispense non-scheduled medications
- Blood pressure readings
- Ultraviolet sanitation to clean station in between patients
