Rentschler Biopharma SE to Purchase U.S. Manufacturing Site from Shire plc
Laupheim, Germany and Milford, MA, USA, December 17, 2018 – Rentschler Biopharma SE, a leading contract development and manufacturing organization for biopharmaceuticals, announced today that the Company has signed an agreement to purchase a manufacturing facility from an affiliate Shire plc in Milford near Boston, MA, USA.
The development and manufacturing site will be leveraged as a CDMO by Rentschler Biopharma. Under the terms of the agreement, Rentschler Biopharma will continue to manufacture product for Shire at the site.
