The Columbus Organization, a nationally recognized provider of support coordination and other services for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, today announced the completed acquisition of the support coordination assets of New Jersey’s Progressive Comprehensive Services. Founded by Neeta Das in 1998, PCS has been a leader in support coordination focused on planning, resource navigation, education, support and facilitated communication for its consumers across New Jersey. This is the first acquisition by The Columbus Organization in the state of New Jersey, and expands The Columbus Organizations’ services to more than 10,000 individuals and their families and guardians in six states.
The Columbus Organization’s President, Jeff Klimaski stated, “We are very pleased to welcome PCS’ support coordination services and talented support coordinators into The Columbus Organization. We strongly believe PCS approach, vision, and most importantly, their dedication to their consumers is consistent with those of The Columbus Organization. This alignment will allow us to quickly integrate our support coordination services, and to reach a greater number of individuals and families in need of our services.”
