In another potential deal far afield from the pharma space, Easton Pharmaceuticals announces that it has begun talks to acquire a stake in a resort in Greece that includes a private beach, a 255-room hotel, eight restaurants and an 87-table/1,000-slot machine casino with a VIP area.
The company says CEO Evan Karras took part in the privatization of gaming there in the 1990s.
The negotiations are expected to wind up in the coming weeks.
