Apple has reportedly stopped hiring new employees for a specific group for its departments. The reports are coming from sources like company employees and insiders. There are also reports that the company is continually bringing new employees on board for departments like Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Hardware.
Apple Stops Bringing in New Employees
With the recent coronavirus pandemic striking severely on the economic health of almost all the industries, the companies have seen a significant drop in their business. There is a massive lack in demand for new gadgets, and as employees do not go to work, a lot of roles have been ceased to be viable.
A decline in Operations in various departments
The departments like marketing and corporate operations are functioning in a limited scope, and thus the existing staff is already underutilized; in such a scenario, the company is not hiring further.

Hiring still open for some departments
