Twitch, the Amazon live streaming platform has appointed Doug Scott as the Chief Marketing Officer of the company. Scott worked at Zynga, which is a popular social media gaming creator.
Twitch did not have anyone serving the position of CMO after Kate Jhaveri resigned from the company. Scott brings in his extensive experience in the industry.
Doug Scott Joins as the CMO at Twitch
Scott has worked for several companies where he has taken different roles in marketing. He worked with Music Start-up, Band page and also worked as the VPM at DeNA. He has also held positions like an advisor to YouTube Music, a board member at the Matrix Initiatives. He was also associated with Electronics Arts.

Scott comes in at a time when the company is in a growth phase. The valuation of gaming and the live streaming platform is around 3.8 billion dollars. More than 2.5 billion hours of videos and visuals have live-streamed on the platform, which is an outstanding number.
