But, there are some countries in the world which has limitations and restrictions on the use of social media. Here is the list of 10 such countries.

- Pakistan has often been a country where the government controls the internet activity of its people, especially related religion. There have been incidents when Pakistan blocked the pages of Facebook and also accessed to the website after some blasphemous content posted that is against Islam.
- Mauritius blocked the access to Facebook for its citizens after a fake profile of the then Mauritius Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam came into notice. The ban lifted after a few hours; however, the country is now extra speculative of the activities on internet.
