Last year Steve Woznaik, Apple cofounder deleted his Facebook account and now he is telling everyone to do the same. He says if people value their privacy they should delete their Facebook account as the social media giant is invading too much into individual’s lives and the best way is to leave it.
Woznaik warned that a lack of privacy on a public platform is not worth it at all. Adding to the warning, more precisely he stated that ‘who knows if my cell phone is listening to what I am speaking right now?
Find a way to get off Facebook
The Apple Cofounder further said that different types of people exist in this world and the benefits of Facebook are not worth the cost of privacy.
He said my suggestion would be that people should figure some other ways and means to get off Facebook and he also thinks that there is nothing that can stop it.

These Big tech giants know almost everything. They can measure your heartbeat with lasers, they can listen to an individual with lots of devices. Alexa is already in the market for some time, said Woz.
Facebook Scandal
After the Cambridge Analytica scandal broke in 2018, Woznaik dumped Facebook. The scandal revealed that social giant Facebook’s data was being used by the private firms to manipulate the 2016 elections in the favour of President Donald Trump. Since then Facebook has been implicated in plenty of other transgressions as well. According to a report from the UN, Facebook agreed that its platform had been used to incite offline violence and foment division.
The solution that Woznaik’s gave is to let every individual pay for its privacy. Instead of personal data being handled by advertisers it is better to take a certain amount and keep the individual’s data safe and secure.
