A grand opening time has been set for 4pm in Dubai and 7pm in Abu Dhabi on the day, but general opening hours are 10am-10pm Monday to Wednesday and 10am – 11.59pm Thursday-Saturday. The company just recently updated its store locations page to incorporate the two stores in UAE, reporting the openings of both stores too.
The tech giant on Thursday officially announed that it will finally open not one, but two Apple Stores in the UAE, at Dubai’s Mall of the Emirates and Abu Dhabi’s Yas Mall on Thursday, October 29.
The news comes as little surprise given how aggressive Apple has been in trying to tap the Indian market, that they plan to open an exclusive Apple Retail Store in India. To start with, Apple will open six Apple Stores in India and a large majority of them will be in Mumbai. The stores will be Apple’s first in the Middle East. Another Dubai place is said to be in the works at the Dubai Mall.
Today, that speculation has been put to rest with the unveiling of the barricades, which have been designed by Arabic calligrapher Samir Sayegh (see pictures).

Apple Stores in India are ready to debut, but it is not operated by the Cupertino colossus Apple Inc. but by Croma, a consumer electronics chain owned by Tata.
“The company has significantly increased its retail presence in the country in the past year with five distributors as India has become one of the fastest growing markets for Apple”. The report states that overall, women in the UAE report having stronger emotional relationships with retail and fashion brands, whereas men have slightly stronger emotional connections to technology brands. Google is ranked No. 1 in the lower socio-economic level and, interestingly, Apple is ranked only once, at No. 2 in the moderate socio-economic level.
