A new report has placed Accenture as the most favoured or ‘in-demand’ employer in India while the worlds most desirable employer, Google, placed a lowly ninth.
According to the survey conducted by professional networking giant Linkedin has showed that Accenture has beat Indian companies including Bharti Airtel, Infosys and TCS. It is followed by HP, Oracle and IBM.
The survey was a part of LinkedIn’s newly launched Talent Brand Index, a new, free service which measures the strength of their employer brand and offers new insights into how they can improve their ability to attract top talent.
“Talent remains the one distinctive asset that companies must build and nurture to retain their competitive edge. The three companies of Indian origin that feature in the top 10 list of most InDemand employers—Bharti Airtel, Infosys and Tata Consultancy Services are testimony to the increased importance of developing and maintaining employer brand by Indian corporates,” said Irfan Abdulla, Director Talent Solutions, LinkedIn India.
