Roche Products (India) Pvt. Ltd. appointed Mr. V. Simpson Emmanuel today as General Manager, after a leadership change in December 2019.
Roche is the world’s largest biotech company, with truly differentiated medicines in oncology, immunology, infectious diseases, ophthalmology and diseases of the central nervous system.
In a press release, Adriano Treve, Area Head – Central Eastern Europe, Turkey, Russia & Indian Subcontinent (CEETRIS), at Roche stated that,“I am pleased to announce Simpson as the new General Manager for Roche India.” later on he added “Simpson has a deep understanding of the healthcare sector and with his strong diverse experience, I am confident he will guide the company to deliver better outcomes for more patients in India. India is a priority for Roche and I believe he will find new ways to shape the healthcare ecosystem together with our customers and embrace next generation ideas and technologies that can transform the lives of patients.”
Today, Roche is the leader in oncology treatment in India; apart from cancer, Roche’s has innovative medicines in other therapy areas too: transplantation, rheumatoid arthritis (RA), and chronic kidney disease (CKD)-related anaemia. On the other hand Simpson has an extensive experience of over 20 years in the pharmaceutical industry, across functions such as marketing, strategic planning, sales management, new product planning and access.

In a reply to Mr. Adriano said V. Simpson Emmanuel, “I feel honored to be stepping into this new role in these unique times.
